The Ecuadorean American Association (EAA), founded in 1932, is the oldest bi-national business organization for Ecuador in the United States. A private non-profit corporation based in New York, it is supported by prominent member companies and individuals from Ecuador, the U.S., and the world. The EAA has no formal connections with any governments and does not receive any government funding.
EAA members and friends meet at luncheons, breakfasts, and receptions with business people, bankers, government officials, and professionals. The EAA’s meetings have featured heads of state, cabinet ministers, ambassadors, private sector leaders, and other experts on economic, financial, political, and social issues of importance. Held in New York City, these programs focus on Ecuador specifically or on the Andean Region. The EAA also hosts informal business networking receptions and cosponsors cultural programs.
